UGA faculty and students are doing what university goers do best – raising hell about stuff. Apparently UGA has been facing some sticky sexual harassment issues lately, leading to the selection of Justice Thomas as a commencement speaker turning into quite a flashpoint.
In other news, Emeril’s Atlanta location restaurant is closing. I, for one, will not miss it. But if you are someone who enjoyed it, you have until April 30th. I ate at his New Orleans restaurant (I don’t know why, when faced with dining choices in New Orleans, I ended up there – such are the shames I must carry with me) and was not duly impressed. I cannot stand his TV persona and am not sorry to have him leave Atlanta. BAM, Emeril! That’s the door hitting you on the way out the door.
